4 Ingredient Cheesy Chili Dip is a great “make ahead and refrigerate until you’re ready to bake it appetizer” and your guests will love it. It’s cheesy and hearty because of the chili.

There are a few different chili brands, some with bean and some without. HORMEL®  98% Fat Free Turkey Chili is my favorite but you can use any chili you want.

If you do make it ahead just remember to add about 15 more minutes baking time since it’s been in the refrigerator.

And, if you’re going to take it to a friend’s house, I recommend baking as normal (30 minutes) but start at least an hour ahead to allow for some cooling time. It will still be warm when you take it but not so hot that you can’t transport it.

Serve this dip warm with tortilla chips. We also love Multi Grain Sun Chips. If there is any left (usually not at our house) you can refrigerate it and warm it up later in the microwave.
