This collection of repurposed pot lid projects offers simple ideas for giving new life to lids without a matching pot. Vintage enamel lids, often chipped or worn, add color and character that works beautifully in upcycled projects.
1. Strawberry Kitchen Decor
If you find a white, chippy enamel lid, give it new life as kitchen decor. I cut this colorful strawberry art, my own digital design, out of permanent vinyl on my Cricut Maker. I love how it came out, and my teaspoons will always be within reach when baking.

To hang it, I used a generous amount of Silicone caulk to glue a piece of scrap wood to the back with a screw-eye in the center. Another option would be to glue twine to the back.

2. Pot Lid Flag Holder
I snagged these enamel pot lids at the flea market to make this nostalgic flag holder. This was an easy upcycle. First, I drilled holes into the top and bottom pans. Then, I spray-painted the top lid blue (it was a worn-out beige) and decorated the bottom one with permanent vinyl lettering cut on my Cricut before attaching them with screws to a wood board.

3. Glass Lid Turned Plant Holder
A glass pan lid is repurposed into a hanging plant holder using a simple chain from the dollar store.

4. Potting Shed Decor
You’ll never lose your garden shears with these cute pot lid holders. These two lids are heading to my antique store booth for my spring reset.
