I keep this four-leaf clover tucked away in my jewelry box.

My two boys and I found it in our backyard one afternoon in May. We were getting the house ready to sell — boxes stacked, rooms half-packed. I pressed it between clear tape to keep it safe. A bit of luck in the middle of it all.

This small gathering of green good fortune feels especially fitting for March — and any season when you find yourself wishing for a little good luck.

I always find small things that catch my eye — old cards, worn labels, trinkets, and unique tins. Individually, they’re simple. Together, they hold a kind of quiet brightness.
