Make this easy Fall Leaves Topiary to add to your Thanksgiving and Fall decor this season.
If you have a small space or need to decorate a mantel or centerpiece, this is the perfect fall craft. This topiary took minutes to make and I love how it came out. I plan to make a couple more — larger ones — to decorate my porch.
There are just a few supplies you’ll need for this craft — a flower pot, faux autumn leaves, floral styrofoam, and a hot glue gun.
I used a small terracotta pot but any small container will do. Other container options include a decorated tin can or a small wicker basket.
I found all of the supplies here at Walmart and the Dollar Store.
Supplies
- Floral foam ball (4.7-inches in diameter)
- A container or flower pot (about 4-inches high)
- A stick (approx. 9″ long)
- Faux fall leaves (I used about 1-1/2 packs from the dollar store)
- Floral moss
- Ribbon, acrylic paint, or other embellishments to decorate your container
- Hot glue gun

How to Make a Fall Leaves Topiary
Start by cutting down a piece of floral foam that will fit snuggly inside your flower pot or container.
Assemble the topiary with the stick through the ball and base foam. Add a dab of hot glue to make sure everything is secure.
Last hot glue your fall leaves on and finish by gluing floral moss to the planter base. Paint or add a decorative ribbon to your flower pot.
