Here's What You'll Need
5″ x 9″ Loaf Baking Pan or Pyrex
A large mixing bowl
INGREDIENTS
3-4 medium size (ripe bananas)
1 cup sugar
1/2 cup butter (softened)
2 eggs
1/3 cup water
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/2 cup chopped walnuts (optional)
Directions
1. Preheat oven to 350-degrees
2. In a large mixing bowl mash the bananas.
3. Stir in the rest of the ingredients: sugar, butter, eggs, water, flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt, cinnamon and nuts.
4. Butter a loaf pan and flour lightly.
5. Pour batter into the loaf pan.
6. Bake at 350-degrees for 1 hour and 15-minutes or until baked through. I use a butter knife to polk the center to check doneness. If the knife comes our clean then Banana Bread is done.
