Decorate your lawn with these fun pool noodle firecrackers for the 4th of July!
This is a really easy decoration to make and you can find all of the supplies at Dollar Tree.
The top of the firecracker is a plastic cup that was cut and made into a cone shape. I used long Dollar Tree skewers to stick the firecracker (pool noodle segments) onto but any long dowel would work.
Check out the photos and supply list below to learn how to make them.

How to Make Pool Noodle Firecrackers – 4 Easy Steps
STEP 1: cup Pool Noodle Pieces
Start by cutting a pool noodle into pieces to vary red and blue segments. My pool noodles were thin so I was able to cut them with scissors. Then push a skewer through each piece, as shown below, to form the firecracker.
STEP 2: Make The Top
Make the top of the firecracker by cutting a slit along one side of a cup and then cut the circle bottom out of the cup as shown. Use clear packing tape to secure the cone shape. Cut the rim of the cone off to even out the shape.
STEP 3: Hot Glue The Top and Decorations
Hot glue the cone to the top of the firecracker and glue garland around it to decorate.
STEP 4: Add Streamers
Knot together different color streamers for the bottom. I cut mine about 12-14 inches long. Then hot glue them to the bottom of the firecracker.
