This Easy Homemade Chicken Noodle Soup is one of our favorite soups to have on cold fall and winter days. Soup is done in less than an hour and it’s so yummy with warm, buttery French bread.
Three easy steps to make awesome Chicken Noodle Soup:
1- Add flavor by browning your carrots, celery, and onions in butter first. Then simmer in broth, water, and seasoning until tender.
2- Toss in the chicken. To save time I use frozen fully-cooked diced chicken but you could certainly dice two fully-cooked chicken breasts.
3- Add the noodles last. Noodles cook really, really fast. Watch them at this stage since they have a tendency to fall apart if they cook too long. Five to ten minutes of cooking time is all you’ll need.
That’s it. I’ve found that this stockpot method works best for this soup. It’s quick and the soup comes out flavorful. Get the full recipe below.
