Father’s Day Altoid Tin DIY – 6 Easy Steps
STEP 1:
Download the free cover art in the supplies list above and cut it out along the edges.

STEP 2:
Next, use your tin to trace the shape. I traced with a pencil on the back of the print-out and held it up to the light to check that the art was centered.

STEP 3:
Use your tin to trace the material you choose to line the inside. I used a cork sheet from Dollar Tree but you can also use felt or decorative paper.

STEP 4:
Spread a thin layer of Mod Podge onto the lid and a little over the sides to accommodate any overhang and glue the cover art to the lid. Smooth any overhang down making sure all edges are completely glued down.

STEP 5:
Then, evenly coat your lid art with Dimensional Magic using a brush or foam applicator to protect your cover art. One thin, even coat will do. Let dry before continuing.
Note: Dimensional Magic may look milky but it will dry completely clear.

STEP 6:
Add small keepsakes Dad will love. To make a pocket-sized photo book, link to the full tutorial here –> How to Make an Accordion Photo Book.
