Peach dump cake is so yummy and it’s made with only four ingredients!
Make this quick and easy dessert for a potluck, your next cookout, or when you just need something sweet but don’t want to head to the bakery.
This delicious peachy dessert is also easy for teens and tweens to make. It’s pretty much fail-proof and it’s much like a peach cobbler but easier to make. It has a crumbly golden buttery top with warm peachy goodness on the inside.
I use canned sliced peaches but if peaches are in season and you want to use fresh, just cook ripe (not overly ripe) peaches by boiling them in a large stock pot of water for about 30 minutes with the skins on.
Run cold water over them or put them in ice water to make them easier to handle. The skins should come right off. If not boil them just a bit longer.
When using fresh peaches, you may also want to add about a 1/4 cup of brown sugar to the recipe for sweetness.
Peach dump cake is best served warm. If you do have leftovers, wrap them up or put them in a sealed container to microwave for later! Below is the easy recipe.
