Add a glass of refreshing tangy celery detox juice to your daily routine! I like to start the day with this drink but it’s also a wonderful re-hydrating drink to have after exercise.
Celery is the star of this drink and is known for it’s cleansing properties along with lemon, ginger and cucumbers! Apple gives this drink sweetness while the lemon and ginger add the tang. If you prefer a sweeter drink, just add more apple and if you want a more tart drink, add more lemon.
The recipe below yields quite a bit, about 700 ml. of juice (a little more than three 8 oz. glasses). I make this much because my family loves it too but if you have extra you can store it in a tightly sealed container or bottle in the refrigerator for up to 24 hours.
I’ve been making fresh juice for my family for a few years with a Breville Juicer and I couldn’t be happier with it. It’s still going strong today after 10+ years of constant use! You can still get this same model. It hasn’t changed a bit which says a lot about the quality.
