Clever repurposed tart tin crafts you can make with new and vintage molds!

Look for vintage jello and baking molds at flea markets and antique stores, or purchase them online to make these beautiful crafts.

I often find bags for just a few dollars, and I’ve picked up some pretty unique shapes! You can also buy new tins. These are the ones I purchased to make the mirror, and a few other crafts shown below.

1. Tart Tin Mirror

This decorative mirror may look complicated, but it’s simple to make. I used new tart tins, but you can also give new tins a rusty patina if you prefer. Learn how to make this beautiful mirror here –> How to Make A Decorative Tart Tin Mirror.

Mirror made of different shape tart tins in silver arranged in a round pattern on a silver round board with a small 5-inch accent mirror in the center over a table with vases and bowls in neutral tan.

2. Vintage Tart Tin Wreath

Make this beautiful wreath in minutes without drilling or harming the tins! Get all the details on this easy project here –> How To Make A Vintage Tart Tin Wreath.

3. Magnets

Decorate tart tins and turn them into refrigerator magnets. Here I used mini birds and greenery for spring, but add any greenery and miniatures you like.

4. Shamrock Trinket Dish

If you have heart-shaped tins, transform them into a shamrock dish! I used Mod Podge and St. Patty’s Day napkins to decorate my tins. I then connected them to a shortened Dollar Tree wooden spatula by drilling two holes at the base of each tin. Then I attached them with wire and a little silicone adhesive to keep everything in place.

Shown finished shamrock trinket bowl made out of three heart tart tins and a wood spatula for the stem. Finished trinket dish decoupaged with green patterned napkins, shown on a white background. Below photo show the three tart tins used and wood spatula as a before photo.

Stack tart tins to make these decorative mini trees. Check out the full tutorial. There’s also a sweet Valentine’s version –> How to Make Repurposed Tart Tin Trees.

6. Garland

Make this fun garland out of tart tins! You don’t have to have bunny tins, though; use any shape from hearts to stars!

To make the garland, you’ll need a drillwood beads, and a roll of 1-inch ribbon. Drill holes into the sides of each tin. Feed a bead onto the ribbon and then a tin, spacing them out evenly.

This tiered organizer is great for holding jewelry and other small treasures! Get all the details on how to turn your collection of tins into a beautiful tiered organizer here –> DIY Vintage Tart Tin Organizer.

Vertical feature image of a DIY three tiered organizer made with scrap wood and 12 vintage round and scalloped tart tins facing to the right. There are four on each tier and they hold beads, small jewelry and bracelets with tags for sale in a vintage antique booth.

8. Miniature Baskets

Make a few tart tin baskets by drilling six holes into the sides of your tins and adding wire. I’m using 20-gauge stainless steel wire from the hardware store, wire cutters, and needle-nose pliers to curl the ends. Fill each basket with treats or festive miniatures to give as gifts or decorate for the holidays!

Mini baskets made out of vintage round scalloped tart tins and filled with fuchsia Hershey Kisses. To turn these small tart tins into baskets there have been six holes drilled around the edge and wire used to make a sort of bird cage looking basket. Topped with a purple satin ribbon ready for gifting!
